报告人简介: Chunlei Li finishes his bachelor and masters degree in mathematics and cryptography during 2001-2008. During 2008-2014, he completes two PhD degrees in the field of information security and reliable communication (in Wuhan University, China and in University of Bergen, Norway), respectively. He is currently working as a postdoc researcher in University of Stavanger. Within his early academic career, Chunlei Li has already published more than 20 research papers in internationally well-recognized journals: 6 papers in the first-rate journal IEEE Transaction on Information Theory, 15 papers in high-quality journals Design Codes and Cryptography, IEICE Transactions, Finite Fields and Their Applications, Science in China, Journal of Computer Science, Discrete Mathematics.
Chunlei Li’s research interests include both theoretical and applied cryptography, particularly cloud-oriented cryptography, information security, cloud computing and data-intensive application and analytic.

摘要Abstract: Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) is a groundbreaking cryptographic technique that allows the processing of data in encrypted form and is likely to have major applications in cloud security. However, significant efficiency and functionality improvements are needed before we can hope to put it to practical use. The implementation overheads that are inherent to current FHE schemes should be reduced, and the homomorphic capacity of current FHE schemes should be improved.
Recently some symmetric FHE schemes have been proposed to minimize the overhead and to increment the homomorphic capacity. Since Gentry, et. al used AES as benchmark for FHE implementations, various alternative schemes have been proposed focusing on minimize the multiplicative depth of the symmetric encryption scheme. This talk will summarize recent work on applying symmetric ciphers in the construction of FHE schemes and introduce our relevant work in this field.
