目前主要从事服务计算和需求工程方面的研究工作。已发表论文40余篇，作为联合编辑主持制定ISO国际标准1项（已正式颁布），参与制定国家标准4项（已正式颁布），参与编写专著1部，合作获得国家发明专利授权6项，获得软件著作权4项。CCF、IEEE 和ACM会员，CCF服务计算专委会委员，国际服务学会青年科学家论坛（中国）2015-2016副主席，CCF YOCSEF武汉委员。担任IEEE TSC、TSMC-C、JWSR、IJBPIM、计算机学报等期刊审稿人，国际会议IEEE SCC 2015 Track Chair，IEEE ICWS/SCC/Cloud/Bigdata 2014 Publicity Chair，SCC 2015-2016、BigData Congress 2016-2017、Cloud 2017、APSCC 2015-2016、RuleML 2015等国际会议程序委员会委员。曾主持国家自然科学基金1项、国家科技支撑计划子课题1项，参与国家973、863和自然科学基金等多项课题。曾获湖北省优秀博士学位论文奖、2011、2015年湖北省科技进步奖一等奖（排名分别为3和5）、2014年中国计算机学会科技进步奖一等奖（排名7）、2010年中国电子学会电子信息科学技术奖二等奖（排名3）等奖励。
